The Bulgarian people's representatives accepted the abolition of the fee for the transfer of Russian gas to Bulgaria in the amount of BGN 20 per megawatt hour, BGNES reported.
The vote took place against the background of the "Vazrazhdane" MPs occupying the tribune of the National Assembly.
BGNES reminds that the National Assembly decided to impose a fee for the transfer of Russian gas across the country, which is in the amount of BGN 20 per megawatt hour. Earlier this month, the leaders of the parties supporting the government announced that this fee would be delayed. This is exactly what the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Bulgaria, Maria Gabriel, called for, as Hungary stated that if this fee is not canceled, it is possible that the country will impose a veto on Sofia's future membership in Schengen. /BGNES
