Pop star Britney Spears celebrated her 42nd birthday with a party in Los Angeles. Her mother Lynn Spears and brother Brian Spears attended the celebration.
"Being together and celebrating her birthday was a really nice moment for the family," one of the guests told People.
Lynn, 68, was seen leaving the party venue on Saturday morning, apparently after spending the night there following the event.
Lynn's appearance at her daughter's birthday comes after the singer revealed in May that the two had improved their relationship. In an Instagram post at the time, Britney revealed that her mother had recently visited her house for the first time in years.
"My sweet mommy showed up on my doorstep yesterday after 3 years ... it's been so long ... with family there are always things that need to be worked out ... but time heals all wounds," she wrote before addressing her mother directly.
"After being able to communicate what I've kept inside for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed that we were able to try to make things right," she continued. "I love you so much. I'm blessed that we can have coffee together after 14 years."
Britney also recently shared some touching words about Brian, 46, suggesting the two have reconciled. In an Instagram post dated Nov. 28, she paid tribute to her "big brother" along with a photo of him wearing a green work suit and helmet.
“My older brother who is like a father and my best friend. I don't know what to say about this outfit though,” the star wrote. /BGNES
