Bradley Beal's 43 points lead Phoenix to victory over Washington

The Phoenix Suns won their visit to the Washington Wizards with 140:112 in another match of the regular season in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Suns were inspired by former Wizards player Bradley Beal. The guard returned to D.C. in fitting fashion, finishing with 43 points on 16/21 shooting from the field and 4/5 from three. He added 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals to his stats. Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic each scored 18, as the center finished close to a triple-double, adding 13 rebounds and 8 assists. Devin Booker scored 14 points.

For the hosts, Deni Avdija was the highest scorer with 24 points. Eugene Omoruyi had a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench, Daniel Gafford and Corey Kispert each scored 15, and Tyus Jones and Landry Shamet finished with 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Phoenix is sixth in the West with a record of 29-21, while Washington is in the penultimate 14th position in the Eastern Conference with just nine wins and a total of 40 losses. The Wizards have a visit from the Cleveland Cavaliers, while the Suns host the Milwaukee Bucks.
