A Scotsman who worked as Brad Pitt's understudy has been sentenced to 16 years in prison by the High Court in Edinburgh after a series of allegations of violence against women, including rape.
Ford, 35, arranged meetings with women through dating apps, over a 12-year period, subjecting his victims to physical and sexual abuse. According to prosecutors, Ford abused them by choking them, smashing a female partner's head into a car window, and punching another in the face. The man blackmailed the women by threatening to share indecent photos of them with their families and at work, the BBC reported.
"Ford is a dangerous and manipulative sexual predator," said Inspector Stephen Gray of Police Scotland. "I hope that now he is behind bars the victims will move on with their lives." | BGNES
