Brad Pitt is hoping to mend fences with his children despite his daughter Shiloh dropping his surname.
This was reported by the Daily Mail, citing its sources.
According to these sources, his daughter's decision has not surprised the 60-year-old actor.
"He knew it was going to happen and could do nothing about it. It's sad, but for him, strained relationships with his children are now the norm."
At the same time, Pitt is always willing to help his children if they need anything.
"He respects Shiloh's decision. Brad loves her and whatever happens, he will always pick up the phone. He'll be there for Shiloh and any of his kids when they need it. But it's up to them to take the next step forward."
Earlier, the actor was unable to contact his son Pax, who was in hospital after a serious motorcycle accident. A few years ago, Pax called him a "world asshole."
As for Shiloh, according to insiders, she has decided to disown her father, 60-year-old Brad Pitt, because of the "painful events" that have happened in her life.
Earlier, his adopted daughter Zahara and biological daughter Vivienne also gave up Pitt's surname.
In total, Pitt and Jolie have six children, three of whom are adopted: 22-year-old Maddox, 19-year-old Zahara and 20-year-old Pax, while three are biological: 18-year-old Shiloh and 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. | BGNES
