The Boston Celtics are one win away from a berth in the National Basketball Association Finals after defeating the Indiana Pacers 114-111 on the road in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals series.
The Celtics, who had the league's best record in the regular season, rallied from an 18-point deficit in the second half to take a 3-0 lead in the series. The Pacers were without their big star Tyreese Halliburton, but still led in the score for most of the game. However, they broke through in the final seconds when Jrue Holiday scored five points and a key steal to give the visitors the win.
Holiday finished with 14 points and 9 rebounds, star Jayson Tatum had 36 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists, Jaylen Brown scored 24 points, and veteran Al Horford finished with 23. For the Pacers, Andrew Nembard led the way with 32 points.
Boston can secure its second Finals appearance in three years with a win in Game 4 in Indianapolis, which will be played on Tuesday at 3:00 BST. /BGNES
