US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken left the Macedonian capital late last night, an hour before the landing of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's plane, BGNES reported from Skopje.
Blinken participated in the official dinner of the foreign ministers of the OSCE member states and immediately after flew to Israel.
At the same time, it became clear that Bulgaria had closed its airspace for Lavrov and he was forced to fly through Turkey and Greece to arrive in the Republic of Macedonia.
The authorities in Sofia have banned the flight due to the presence of the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, on board the plane with the Russian delegation.
Today and tomorrow are the official meetings of the OSCE forum./BGNES
