America's top diplomat, Anthony Blinken, said there was a "clear interest" in continuing relations with Israel after the talks in Saudi Arabia, AFP reported.
Blinken also said that all the leaders on his six-country tour had agreed to work with the US to help rebuild Gaza and its long-term stability.
He spoke after meeting Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto Saudi ruler, in a lavish tent outside Al Ullah, a historic oasis town.
"We talked about (Israeli normalization) basically at every stop, including of course here in Saudi Arabia," he told reporters.
"And I can tell you this, there is a clear interest here to pursue this."
Preliminary efforts to establish potential ties between Saudi Arabia and Israel were abandoned after the war between Israel and Hamas broke out.
He said a "broad agreement" had been reached on Israel's security, unified Palestinian leadership in the occupied West Bank and Gaza and an eventual independent Palestinian state.
"No one I've spoken to thinks this will all be easy... but we have agreed to work together and coordinate our efforts to help Gaza stabilize and rebuild, chart a political path forward for the Palestinians and work for long-term peace, security and stability," Blinken said.
"I also found that everywhere ... leaders are willing to make the necessary commitments to make the difficult decisions to achieve all these goals." /BGNES
