Blinken arrived in Saudi Arabia for a new Middle East crisis tour

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken arrived in Riyadh at the start of a new crisis tour.
Washington's goal is to achieve a truce between Israel and Hamas and increase humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
The top US diplomat will also visit Jordan and Israel during his seventh visit to the region since the terrorist group's October 7 attack on Israel.
In Saudi Arabia, Blinken is expected to hold new talks with the Saudi leadership about a potential normalization of relations with Israel, a State Department official said, quoted by AFP.
Saudi Arabia was considering this step before October 7.
Blinken will also meet in Riyadh with a number of Arab and European foreign ministers who are visiting for the World Economic Forum meeting and Gulf Cooperation Council talks. /BGNES
