Allies in the Black Sea can count on the US. Putin thought that Ukraine's neighbors in the region would be disunited, but he was wrong.
This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken via video link at the Second Conference dedicated to security in the Black Sea, within the framework of the International Crimean Platform, BGNES reported.
The conference at the Central Military Club is jointly organized by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Ukraine, in partnership with the Center for Defense Strategies (Ukraine).
"We worked with Bulgaria to prevent foreign disinformation," Blinken pointed out.
Our allies in the Black Sea can count on the US to make the region more secure, more prosperous and more integrated," he added.
"We must continue to support Ukraine in the ways we have been doing it so far, so that it gets back on its feet," said the US Secretary of State.
Anthony Blinken noted the need for Western aid to strengthen Kiev's military capabilities, develop democratic institutions, etc. /BGNES
