Biden urges House to pass Ukraine bill

US President Joe Biden urged the House of Representatives to approve long-delayed funding for Ukraine's war effort against Russia after the Senate passed the foreign aid bill.
"I urge the House of Representatives to move urgently to act," Biden said in a statement, despite expectations that the Republican-led chamber would reject the bill.
"If we do not stand up to tyrants who seek to conquer or carve out territory from our neighbors, the consequences for America's national security will be significant," Biden said. /BGNES
