US President Joe Biden has checked into a hospital for his last annual medical before the November election, CNN reported.
The White House said a summary of the test results from Walter Reed Military Medical Facility outside Washington would be released later in the day.
It will be closely watched for details on the health of America's oldest leader.
Biden, who is on course for a rematch with former President Donald Trump, 77, on the November ballot, took a short helicopter ride to the medical center, which is often used by US presidents.
"I'm going to Walter Reed to get my medical," Biden said outside the White House.
Biden's routine medical comes amid growing concerns among voters about the age of the leader, who will be 86 at the end of a possible second term in office.
Trump has routinely described Biden as old, decrepit and unfit for office, although the former US president, who is 77, has also made a series of gaffes due to memory problems. /BGNES
