Biden is heading to a pre-election battle in key states

US President Joe Biden delivered his re-election message in a number of key states, bolstered by his combative and well-received State of the Union address in which he attacked rival Donald Trump.
Democrat Biden headed to Pennsylvania today and will be in Georgia tomorrow. Next week, Biden, 81, goes to New Hampshire, Wisconsin and Michigan.
On March 7, Biden delivered one of the most heated addresses ever seen from the floor of the House of Representatives.
He has repeatedly attacked Trump for "kowtowing" to Russian President Vladimir Putin and a threat to American democracy, while naming Republican lawmakers in the chamber as impersonators of the former president.
It was also aimed at allaying the concerns of skeptical voters about his age, with the oldest US president in history delivering a spirited performance and bantering on the subject with Republicans.
Biden's team said he will campaign in every state in March to get his message to voters.
Determined
Vice President Kamala Harris, who during Biden's speech was visibly behind him and cheered him on several times, will visit Arizona and Nevada, where he will focus on Latino voters.
"Joe Biden has made it his mission to reach voters where they are and bridge our differences," campaign chair Jen O'Malley Dillon said.
"While Donald Trump - saddled with a losing agenda and a cash-strapped operation - is actively alienating the voters who will decide the election," he stressed.
Trump is facing financial trouble as he fights multiple legal battles, including a criminal case to try to overturn his 2020 election loss to Biden and a $355 million civil fraud fine. /BGNES
