Singer Beyonce has paid her dancers a huge bonus for their work on Christmas Day.
The 43-year-old star delivered a 13-minute performance on the field at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston on Dec. 25 at halftime of the Ravens' clash with the Texans, along with guests Shaboozey, Post Malone and her 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
The Sun newspaper reports that the performer paid her dancers "double" as a thank you for working with her on Netflix's NFL Christmas Day.
"Beyoncé paid her employees double bonuses for working on Christmas Day. The show was a big business deal and had to happen on Christmas Day, so she paid the employees and dancers double pay for making it happen. She also plans to bring back some of her old dancers to the line-up for her next tour," a source said.
The show was called "Beyoncé Bowl" and was streamed live on Netflix and was produced by the singer's company Parkwood Entertainment.
In it, she wore a white cowboy hat and performed hits from her country album Cowboy Carter, which included her number one song Texas Hold 'Em.
Beyoncé - whose net worth is estimated at $600 million - reportedly received $20 million for her halftime performance during Netflix's NFL Christmas broadcast.
The Daily Mail said the sum came in part from deals on social media, while "several people" claim the huge sum was also part of a larger contract between Beyoncé and Netflix.
The singer is said to have signed a three-project deal with the streaming giant in 2019, which is already two-thirds complete. | BGNES
