Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck may be going through a divorce, but it looks like things are amicable.
During the promotion of the film "Similar Trifles," which he produced, Affleck also discussed another film, "Unstoppable," which stars Don Cheadle, Jarrell Jerome, Bobby Cannavale and Lopez, CNN reports.
"'Unstoppable' is a very different movie than this one, but in some ways it's similar to this one, which is rooted in the passion of really talented artists," Affleck said.
"Billy Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jarrell [Jerome] and Bobby Cannavale, they were all really passionate about this movie," he added.
The actor/director/producer also had plenty of praise for the film's stars, including his ex-wife.
"Jennifer is impressive," Affleck said. "We believed in the right people and 'Unstoppable' is another example of that."
"Unstoppable" tells the true story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and won a national championship in 2011.
Lopez filed for dissolution of their two-year marriage in Los Angeles in August, which coincided with the anniversary of their wedding ceremony in Reesboro, Georgia, in 2022, after they first eloped in Las Vegas a month earlier.
The breakup came after reports that the two were living apart, Lopez had canceled her summer tour to spend time with her family, and they had put their Beverly Hills home on the market.
This was Affleck's second marriage and Lopez's fourth marriage. | BGNES
