The Catalans end the season in second place with 85 points - ten behind champions Real and 4 ahead of third-placed Girona
Barcelona beat Sevilla 2-1 away in the last game of the La Liga season. The match was the last for the coaches of both teams, Xavi Hernandez and Quique Sanchez Flores.
The Catalans took the lead with a goal from Robert Lewandowski after a pass from Joao Cancelo after a quarter of an hour. Sevilla hit back with two stunning attacks after 20 minutes, but Adria Pedrosa and Dodi Lucebacchio failed to capitalize.
In the 30th minute, they reached a goal (1:1), the work of Youssef En Nesiri, who was placed in a good position and made no mistake. In the following minutes, Pedri missed out on putting Barca ahead after his 36th-minute shot was saved and another hit the crossbar shortly after.
The hosts were also stopped by the post in the 45th minute after El Nasiri's header.
Exactly a quarter of an hour after the start of the second half, youngster Fermin Lopez made it 2:1 for Barcelona with a shot in the bottom left corner. Five minutes later, Joao Felips scored with a pass in front of Sevilla's goal.
With 15 minutes to go, Marcao took a sneaky shot at Barca's goal, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen made the save. There was no goal until the end and Barcelona ended the season in second place with 85 points - ten behind the champion Real and 4 ahead of third-placed Girona. Sevilla is in 14th position with 41.
