Barcelona ended their three-match winless streak in La Liga after they thrashed Mallorca 5-1 away in the second leg of their semi-final.
The Catalans had taken just one point from their last three games in Spain and allowed rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid to close the gap, but the win in Mallorca extended their lead at the top to four points. Ferran Torres had given the visitors the lead in the 12th minute, but Vedat Murici equalised for Mallorca just before half-time. Hansi Flick's team dominated the second half, scoring four unanswered goals - two from Rafinha and one each from Frenkie de Jong and Pau Victor.
Barcelona now have 37 points, four more than Real Madrid, but the Royal Club have played two games less. Mallorca are sixth in the standings with 24 points. | BGNES
