The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Atlanta Hawks 129:119 on the road in a regular season game of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
The Texans were again without their big star Luka Doncic, but a balanced offensive effort brought success for Jason Kidd's team. Above all for the Mavs was Kyrie Irving with 32 points. He also made six 3-pointers, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out six assists. Jaden Hardy added 23 points, Naji Marshall and Spencer Dinwiddie scored 22 each. PJ Washington recorded a double-double - 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Daniel Gafford contributed 10 points from the bench.
For the hosts from Georgia, Jalen Johnson finished with a double-double – 28 points and 11 rebounds. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Trey Young each scored 18 points, with Young giving 16 assists. Dyson Daniels finished with 17 points, and Clint Capela scored 12 points, but their efforts proved to be insufficient.
Atlanta is 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 7-11 record, while Dallas is ninth in the West with 10 wins and 8 losses. In their next games, the Mavericks host the New York Knicks, while the Hawks have two games in a row with the best team in the League, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
