At least 24 people have been killed and several others injured in Israeli air strikes in two Gaza City neighborhoods, Gaza health authorities said.
At least 20 people were killed in a strike on a house in the al-Tufa neighborhood, while a strike in the al-Shati refugee camp killed four people, Gaza Civil Defense Agency spokesman Mahmoud Bassal told AFP.
Doctor Mahmoud Aliwa from al-Ahli hospital said 24 bodies were brought to the medical facility after the strikes.
Earlier today, the Israeli military said its fighter jets struck "two Hamas military infrastructure sites in the Gaza City area."
"Israeli warplanes bombed a residential compound in al-Shati camp. We found the bodies of four victims," Basal said.
"Our crews also found 20 martyrs and more than 35 wounded after the occupation planes targeted the Shabbat family's house in al-Tufa."
Bassal said at least 19 people who worked in a factory in al-Tufa were still missing. | BGNES
