FA Cup holders Manchester United will visit Arsenal in a third-round clash in the competition, the draw has revealed.
The match between two of the favorites for the trophy will be a repeat of the 2005 final, when the Gunners won on penalties. Mikel Arteta's side hold the record for most FA Cup trophies with 14, including in the Spaniard's debut season in charge of the Gunners. Curiously, Arsenal and United will play each other tomorrow night at the Emirates in the 14th round of the Premiership.
Premier League leaders Liverpool welcome Accrington Stanley in another clash, while last edition's runners-up Manchester City host Salford City. The only other game pitting Premiership teams against each other, other than Arsenal - United, is the one between Aston Villa and West Ham.
The FA Cup third round fixtures will be played over the weekend of January 10-13, with the Football Association (FA) confirming the full schedule shortly.
