Arnold Schwarzenegger plays Santa Claus in his latest film

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a man of many talents, having had success as a bodybuilder, politician and movie star.

However, with his latest film role, the former California governor can now add the role of Santa Claus to his list as he takes on the role of the Christmas giver in the upcoming holiday film titled The Man with the Sack.

"Santa's coming to town!" wrote Schwarzenegger on his Instagram, later adding, "Can't wait to share all this Christmas cheer with each and every one of you."

The former "Mr. Olympia" shared a photo of himself posing with fellow actor Alan Richson, with whom he is currently filming in New York City.

In the photo, the "Terminator" star appears with a shaggy white beard and hairstyle, as well as a red wool coat over a festive Christmas sweater.

"The Man with the Sack" follows a Santa Claus who turns to his naughty list to find a would-be thief to help him retrieve his stolen magic bag, according to the synopsis of the Adam Shankman-directed film.

Schwarzenegger is no stranger to spreading holiday cheer through his films.

In 1996, he starred in the holiday family comedy "Jingle All the Way" as a father who goes to great and hilarious lengths to get a popular toy to give his son for Christmas. | BGNES
