Arne Slott is officially the new manager of Liverpool, the club announced.
A day after sending off legend Jurgen Klopp, the "Reds" announced the expected news that his replacement will be the Dutchman, who arrives from Feyenoord.
Slott will sign a contract for 3 years, and Liverpool will pay a solid compensation of 11 million euros to his current team.
Slott, 45, emerged as an option at Anfield after options for Xabi Alonso and Ruben Amorim fell through.
The Dutchman left an excellent impression at Feyenoord, where he won the national title and cup, and reached the final of the Conference League. However, he has never worked outside his homeland, either as a coach or as a player.
In his farewell speech to the fans, Klopp set the tone for a song dedicated to his successor and thus made a great gesture to Slott. /BGNES
