Armenia and the US will hold joint military exercises from July 15 to 24

Armenia and the United States will hold joint military exercises in Armenia from July 15 to 24, US News reported.
The "Partner Eagle 2024" exercises will focus on tasks related to peacekeeping missions, and similar exercises with "partner countries" are held regularly, the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
Armenia, until recently Russia's closest ally in the South Caucasus, has soured relations with Moscow in recent years. The reason for the discord was the lack of Russian intervention in the conflicts between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Although Armenia remains a treaty ally of Russia, it has repeatedly said it does not support Moscow's war in Ukraine and has sent humanitarian aid to Kiev, drawing Russia's ire. | BGNES
