Singer Ariana Grande does not see herself returning to music "in the next few years".
The 31-year-old pop star made her big screen debut as Glinda in the first of two adaptations of the Broadway classic Wicked this year. After her label denied rumours that she was planning a huge tour in 2025, Ariana explained that she was instead focused on "exploring different art forms".
"I feel so grateful to acting and I think my fans know that music and the stage will always be a part of my life, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I think in the next few years, hopefully, we'll explore different art forms, and I think acting feels like home right now," Grande told Variety.
"I'm grateful for (my fans') understanding. I'm so grateful for the ways we've grown together during this whole journey with Wicked. But music will always be a part of my life," the singer said.
"I'll be playing at my mom's house," she joked.
Ariana's record label, Republic Records, stated, "There are no plans to tour next year, but Ariana remains deeply appreciative of her fans and all the continued love, support and excitement."
The singer released her seventh studio album "Eternal Sunshine" in March. | BGNES
