Anushka Delon's February 21 Elle interview didn't sit well with Anthony Delon. Alain Delon's son took to social media on Saturday, February 24, to respond to his sister's comments. He condemned the "defamatory interview" in a lengthy text.
"You have to know that I didn't wait for you to solve my problems with my father," says the older of the Delon brothers. "Let's talk about guns. You spent the summer shooting a glock with your beloved former head of the Soul Guard before finally taking the gun home to Geneva as a keepsake from Dad. For someone who hates guns, you looked very brave and capable," he continued, denying that he "went armed."
In her interview, Anushka claimed that her brothers "walk around the house armed", forcing her to go to her father's house accompanied by a bodyguard. "My brothers think they're in the Wild West," she said in the interview.
Anthony Delon continued his message by defending himself against the allegation that he distributed the photos of their father on social media: "Since he is not well, I have never done it," he said.
He went on to raise the issue of his sister's apartment in the sixteenth arrondissement: "If I had a problem with this purchase, as you claim, I would have told you to get out from the start," he said. The 59-year-old actor returned to the topic of his sister's recording, which Alain-Fabien Delon (younger brother) had shared on Instagram. "Millions of people heard you talk to a vulnerable, fragile father, scare him, make him feel guilty to get an advantage. It's hard to accept... I understand your bitterness," he said.
In mid-week, Anoushka Delon confessed her anguish: "People tried to break into my house. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I just want it to stop," she said.
Describing the "eerie" atmosphere in Dushi, she announced that she would no longer take her son Lino to his grandfather: "I don't want him to experience this atmosphere, these people who stabbed me in the back."
