Angelina Jolie studied to be a funeral agent before becoming an actress

Angelina Jolie may be doing well in film and on stage, but acting wasn't actually her first choice when she was considering her career path.

The Golden Globe, Oscar and Tony Award winner revealed on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that she studied to be a funeral agent before taking up acting.

"My grandfather passed away and I remember thinking that shouldn't be the case. It should be a celebration of life - and since I'm not afraid of death and I was comfortable with it, I thought it would be a great career path for me," the actress told.

"I could make this better. I could do something here," she added, before joking, "This is my backup career."

Jolie, 49, then addressed other rumors about her alternative careers.

Asked if it was true that she had considered becoming a pilot, she replied, "Yes, I am a pilot." Jolie reportedly obtained her pilot's license in 2004.

She added that her son Maddox is also now a pilot.

Jolie, however, strongly denied rumors that she was considering doing stand-up comedy. | BGNES
