Men's Grand Slam record holder Novak Djokovic was left out of the top 10 on ESPN's Top 100 Greatest Athletes of the 21st Century.
The Serb, who recently lost the Wimbledon final to Carlos Alcaraz and is currently preparing for the Paris Olympics, holds most records in men's tennis, along with Slam titles at 24. He has been world No. 1 for a record 422 weeks and has 375 wins at Grand Slam level, third in men's singles titles with 98, and has 1,110 wins in the Open Era.
Djokovic is ranked 11th in ESPN's rankings, just behind his idol, the late basketball player and LA Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, and just ahead of one of his biggest rivals on the court, Rafael Nadal.
One of the greatest footballers of our time, Cristiano Ronaldo, is also behind Djokovic, occupying the 13th position. | BGNES
