Kanye West claims Adidas is suing him and selling "fake" versions of his shoe brand, reports The Mirror.
The rapper was previously sponsored by Adidas, but their partnership ended in 2022 after Kanye made anti-Semitic comments on social network X.
He claims the sportswear giant is suing him as well as selling unapproved versions of the Yeezy shoe line they worked on together.
"Let me explain to you very clearly what's going on with Adidas. Not only are they releasing fake versions of Yeezy that are not approved, but they are suing me for $250 million," West said on Instagram.
"They're also not paying me for these shoes they're marketing that have my name on them. They're using clauses in contracts and 50 years of business experience to rape an artist, one of your favorite artists, right in front of you in broad daylight," the rapper added.
In a separate Instagram post, the 'Vultures' singer showed a screenshot of the shoes he was talking about appearing on Adidas' website. / BGNES
