Adele has announced 4 concerts at a purpose-built stadium in Munich this summer - an idea she described as "a bit random, but still great".
The shows will take place at the German city's 80,000-capacity outdoor stadium on August 2, 3, 9 and 10, the BBC reports.
It will be the singer's first concert in continental Europe since her last tour in 2016.
But the star said she was tempted by the offer of a "one-off, purpose-built pop-up stadium designed for whatever show I want to put on" that is "almost in the middle of Europe".
"I couldn't think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this wonderful stage of my life and career with concerts closer to home during such an exciting summer," she wrote on social media.
Ticket registration is open until February 5, and pre-sale will begin on February 7. /BGNES
The 35-year-old singer is due to wrap up her Las Vegas appearances on June 15. Prior to that, she performed two sold-out shows at London's Hyde Park in July 2022. / BGNES
