Actor Henry Cavill became a father for the first time

Man of Steel star Henry Cavill has welcomed his first child by his girlfriend, Hollywood executive Natalie Viscuso, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

No details have yet been revealed about the child's birth date, name or gender. The news comes after the couple was spotted pushing a stroller on Jan. 18 in Australia, where Cavill is currently filming the Amazon MGM movie "Voltron."

The star first confirmed that Viscuso was expecting their first child at the New York premiere of "Ministry of Gentlemanly Warfare" in April. "I'm very excited about it," he told Access Hollywood. "Natalie and I are both very excited. I'm sure you're going to see a lot more of this."

The actor discussed the possibility of becoming a father ahead of the arrival of his firstborn child during an interview with Men's Health in November 2017. At the time, Cavill said it was "starting to get pretty late" for him to have children, though he still wants to "be a healthy, robust father" when the time comes.

Cavill and Viscuso, vice president of Vertigo Entertainment, announced their relationship on Instagram in April 2021. As a Hollywood executive, Viscuso previously worked for Legendary Entertainment, which produced some of Cavill's projects, including Man of Steel and Enola Holmes. | BGNES
