A billionaire bequeaths his estate to a gardener

Nicolas Pueche, who is a fifth-generation heir to Thierry Hermès, who founded the eponymous fashion house Hermès in 1837, decided to adopt his 51-year-old gardener to pass on his $11 billion fortune, reports the Swiss edition Tribune de Genève.

Puyesh has no children or wife of his own. According to his 2011 will, his fortune was to go to the Isocrates Charitable Foundation. According to journalists, Puesh, who owns about 5-6% of the company, wants to recognize the "former gardener and worker" from a "modest Moroccan family" as his legitimate son and official heir. He has already hired a team of lawyers who will help him arrange everything officially, since there are many difficulties in this matter: for example, according to the law, it is very difficult to adopt an adult.

It is reported that Puesh has already handed the future heir the keys to real estate in Morocco, as well as villas in Montreux (Switzerland) worth a total of $5.9 million. It is understood that he left the company's supervisory board in 2014 following the "hostile takeover" of Hermès by LVMH and following pressure from other members of his family, but was able to retain his stake. /BGNES
