Four people were killed and several others injured when a racing car in a Hungarian auto rally ran off the road and plowed into spectators, authorities said. According to a police statement, it is still unclear why the car, which was taking part in a two-day rally in northern Hungary, went off the road.
The crash happened between the towns of Labatlan and Bajot in the northern Komarom Esztergom district and left at least four dead and seven injured, police said. Several ambulances and rescue helicopters were dispatched to the scene and the rally was immediately halted. /BGNES, AFP
