Bells rang, birds chirped and bicycle wheels rotated to mark the start of AMI's Fall/Winter 2024 catwalk presentation at Paris Fashion Week. Guests were led into a darkened area with spacious interiors, where they feasted their eyes on a movie-like facade resembling Parisian apartment buildings. An artificial sunset illuminated the building's facade, and wooden doors slowly opened, allowing models to stroll the runway dressed in a well-tailored ensemble, writes the online publication HyoerBeast.
Alexandre Mattiussi, a French designer, is inspired with his native Paris, continually praising its energetic citizens waking up to the city's sunshine. The exhibition invitation included dozens of AMI-branded catalogues, postcards, and utility bills, which were delivered to households' mailboxes throughout the city. FW24 celebrated the busy houses of regular Parisians, with mothers, teenagers, grandfathers, and friends uniting across 62 styles. /BGNES
