Luca Trabaldo Togna: Fashion is something for the season, I believe in style

More and more fashion brands are producing in a way that does not impact on nature, while big industry is timidly groping for regulatory measures in clothing production, fabrics and innovation.

A team from BGNES and Cantarelli flew to Italy to rock the stands at the Milano Unica 2024 in search of answers about whether the personal fashion consultant will tackle the eternal question of "what to wear today", whether we are getting carried away with "fast fashion" and how the fashion business could be "ethical".

The brand Trabaldo Togna 1840 has received awards for ethical fashion. „There is a big difference between fashion and style. Fashion is something that is working for the season, but I believe in style”, CEO Luca Trabaldo Togna told BGNES. He emphasized that style is something without an end: “You can see people who are well dressed and stylish. People from the 1920s would be still elegant today, for example Prince Edward or Ernest Hemingway – they had their own style which is timeless.“

“Speaking of fashion we sometimes have to follow the big stream because we make bussiness in the end of the day”, he added. Luca Trabaldo Togna thinks that personal fashion consultants could be very helpful for companies and clients. /BGNES
