More and more small fashion brands are producing in a way that does not impact on nature, while big industry is timidly groping for regulatory measures in clothing production, fabrics and innovation.
A team from BGNES and Cantarelli flew to Italy to rock the stands at the Milano Unica 2024 in search of answers about whether the personal fashion consultant will tackle the eternal question of "what to wear today", whether we are getting carried away with "fast fashion" and how the fashion business could be "ethical".
Duse is part of the fashion industry for more than 15 years and now she works for the young family company Metal P based in Bergamo, which produces accessories from metals.
“I think that it’s really necessary to take care about the ethics in the industry and at the same time we have to be honest with the market. We should not be ethical just on words and we must use real natural materials”, she said.
“We should help each other and take our own part to improve the world”, she emphasized. /BGNES
