Actress Janhvi Kapoor walks the runway at Lakmé India Fashion Week

The Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI has officially concluded, with celebrities from Janhvi Kapoor to Vijay Verma leading the shows for some of the biggest names in the industry. Kapoor closed the show for designer Amit Agarwal, who presented his 2024 collection titled "Core," Vogue reported.
Agarwal's collection was based on the fusion of fluidity and his signature structured fabrics. In a myriad of shades, from silver and black to red and blue, the designer combined colors and different materials to give the garments the defining movement and fluidity for which he is known. Janhvi's sculpted strapless corset paired with a black drape-style skirt is an outfit that uses movement to offset structure. The truth about a well-constructed garment is that it loves all shapes and that's exactly what Agarwal's stunning look is all about. The high-octane beret accentuates the body's natural curves, while the draped skirt does an excellent job of becoming water that clings to the cup rather than the other way around, which really suits the Indian female body type.
The two-tone bra uses a variety of weave patterns to create an understated yet vividly sculpted piece that flatters the torso and flips the black-and-silver dichotomy. The designer's creative direction has always revolved around modern silhouettes using contemporary methods, and in this case, the contrasting style of the skirt brings to the fore the seamlessness of the ensemble, accompanied by the edginess and structure of the bralette. The two-tone silver embellishment of the corset on the right intersects with the black on the left to create a versatile separate that is characteristic of Amit Agarwal's designs.
Since Janhvi's personal style involves a lot of bodysuits and body-hugging shapes, the ensemble seemed like a good fit.
To accentuate the actress' sex appeal, makeup artist Savlin Manchanda went all out to achieve a full glow with smoky eyes and coral, glossy lips. This is paired with open voluminous tresses by Marce Pedroso to create a seemingly messy look./BGNES
