Yosif Panov triumphed with the UBO belt in front of Conor McGregor

Yosif Panov-Pepeliankata triumphed with the Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) world title in the welterweight category. He defeated Sandy Messaud (Fr) by decision after a tough 12-round bout at MAX FIGHT 56 at Arena Sofia. All three judges awarded Cinderella the win.

His opponent showed unsportsmanlike behavior on several occasions, continuing to punch after the gong to end the round.

Panov was personally congratulated by Conor McGregor for his success.

Prior to that, Borislav Velev - Roy scored a devastating first-round TKO win against Nicaraguan opponent Pablo Mendoa at MAX FIGHT 56. It was his 13th win in 13 bouts (all by knockout) in the pro ring for Velev, who in his previous duel again under the MAX FIGHT hat achieved a glorious success over Grigor Sarukhanyan on June 2.
