Voter turnout in Bulgarian 2-in-1 elections hit a new low last Sunday

The Central Election Commission (CEC) announced the voter turnout from the vote last Sunday towards the end of the election day.

34.41% voter turnout at the end of the election day, the CEC reported. As of 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, those who voted for the National Assembly were 2,268,644. In the elections for the European Parliament, those who went to the ballot box were even less - 2,074,192.

Euro vote activity is 33.79%.

BGNES reminds that in the last parliamentary elections in our country - from April 2, 2023, the voter turnout was 40.69%. Then 2,683,606 voters went to the polls.
