"My hope is that people will understand that the power is within them. I appeal to the people who have not come out to vote, to do so today, because the next supplementary exam is in 4 years".
This is what Vasil Terziev, the candidate of "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" (Save Sofia) for mayor of the capital, BGNES reported.
After exercising his right to vote using a machine in section at the 118 middle school school in Bulgarian capital's "Mladost" district, Terziev expressed hope for a higher voter turnout in today's runoff.
"500 thousand invalid votes is an outrage. For 15-16% of the ballots cast to be invalid is abnormal", Terziev also said and pointed out: Apparently they can't count some people.
Asked how he accepted the comment of GERB leader Boyko Borisov, who said that even though he did not like it, he would support him, Terziev replied that he might have been joking. "He jokes every day, so I don't know what mood he woke up in today," he added.
I rely on the votes of Sofia residents, who see a better path in my candidacy and in the regional mayors. One of the bad practices we will break is no more "my mayor, your mayor". The city suffers from favoritism, the candidate for mayor of Sofia is categorical. /BGNES
