According to a reporter from BGNES, Vasil Terziev has assumed the position of mayor of Sofia during his official inauguration ceremony at the Sofia municipality.
The recently elected municipal councillors also took the oath of office.

The forthcoming decisions about Sofia will pose significant challenges and require prompt attention. The coalition consisting of "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria"and "Save Sofia" is represented by a total of 23 municipal councillors. The GERB-UDF coalition has 14 councillors, while the Bulgarian Socialist Party has 9 councillors. "Revival" party has 8 councillors, "There is Such People" party has 3 councillors, KOD has 3 councillors, and VMRO has a single municipal councillor, Carlos Contrera. /BGNES
