I voted for a democratic city free from corporate dependencies. I voted for a hate-free city where we can see eye to eye. So was my whole campaign. Now I think the candidates should shut up so the voters can talk.
This was said by the candidate for mayor of Sofia, Vanya Grigorova, BGNES reported.
According to the mayoral candidate of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and "United Left", the voting technology does not matter at all. "Everyone chooses for themselves, just let them vote," she pointed out after dropping her paper ballot in the 94th Middle School "Dimitar Strashimirov".
"I voted with a sense of hope, fueled by the enthusiasm and energy I see in people - in the market, in their workplace, on the street. I strongly hope that today people find a reason to go to the polls and understand that the next 4 years depend on them", Grigorova said.
The candidate for mayor of the capital emphasized that now is the time citizens should understand what democracy really is. /BGNES
