There will be runoffs in most regional cities

20 regional cities could not elect their mayor in the first round. Their candidate-mayors will appear in the runoff next Sunday - November 5, reported BGNES.

Ilko Stoyanov, the previous mayor of Blagoevgrad collected 27.07% of the votes or 9275 votes with 99.67% of the protocols processed. The previous mayor, supported by GERB-SDS Stoyanov, is going to the run-off on Sunday against Metodi Baikushev, the "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB ) candidate with a result of 21.78 percent or 7,463 votes.

In Petrich - Dimitar Petrov Bruchkov from GERB has won 43.05% and 2,490 votes, and will face a runoff with Stoyan Nikolov Ruikov from SBOR, who has 28.35% and 1,640 votes. There will also be a runoff in Sandanski - there the independent Atanas Stoyanov will face off against Stoyan Stoev from the GERB. In the first round, Stoyanov won 43.70% and 8,594 votes, and Stoev won 36.30% and 7,138 votes.

In Nessebar, there will be a runoff on November 5 between the independent Nikolay Kirilov Dimitrov, who won 40.40% or 4,689 votes in the first round, and Ivan Dashev from the Bulgarian Union for Direct Democracy, who won 20.31% or 2,357 votes in the first round.

In Pomorie, there will be a runoff between Ivan Alexiev from GERB with 50.06% in the first round and Veselin Anestiev from ZNS /Agricultural People's Union, Coalition We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria, ITN/ with 38.63%.

There will be a runoff in the regional city between Ivan Portnih from GERB, who in the first round has 26.43% or 25,249 votes and Blagomir Kotsev from the WCC-DB Coalition, who has 21.60% or 20,636 votes.

In Byala, Varna, there is also a runoff - between Penyo Krasimirov Nenov from GERB, who in the first round has 50.90% and Iliyan Tsonev from Citizens for the Municipality, who has 33.87%.

There will also be a runoff in Provadia, it will be between Dimo Dimov from GERB with 27.91% and Anatoli Atanasov from Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) for Bulgaria with 21.37%.

There will be a runoff in Veliko Tarnovo between Daniel Panov from GERB with 42.37% and 11,406 votes, and Yordan Terziyski from the WCC-DB Coalition, who won 20.97% or 5,645 votes in the first round.

In Gorna Oryahovitsa there will be a runoff between Dobromir Dobrev from GERB with 34.34% and Nikolay Rashkov with 20.77% from Direct Democracy.

In the city of Vidin, there will be a runoff between Tsvetan Tsenkov from SDS (NDSV, NOVOTO VREME) with 37.41% or 7,294 votes and Alexander Mateev from GERB with 19.18% or 3,739 votes.

There will also be a runoff in Belogradchik, it will be between Boyan Ivanov from the MK BSP FOR BULGARIA (NDSV, NOVOTO VREME, DPS, BULGARIAN VAZHOD, Gergyevden Movement) with 47.99% and Boris Nikolov from the WCC-DB Coalition with 36.29%.

In Mezdra, there will be a runoff between Ivan Tsanov, an independent candidate with 41.78% and Gennady Sabkov from BSP for Bulgaria with 31.92%.

In Gabrovo, there will be a runoff between Tanya Hristova from GERB with 47.17% or 7,765 votes and Daniel Petrov from Vazrazhdane with 11.44% and 1,883 votes. In Sevlievo, there will be a runoff between Ivan Ivanov from GERB with 41.91% and 4,972 votes and Svetlana Georgieva from Citizens for the Municipality with 13.40% and 1,590 votes. The battle of the run-off in Tryavna will be disputed - between Silvia Krasteva from "PP VMRO-Bulgarian National Movement" with 22.37% and Dencho Minev from GERB with 21.39%.

The battle of the runoff will be contested in Dobrich. It will be between Yordan Yordanov from MK DBG (DBG, ITN, NDSV, SSD, GN and VMRO-BND) with 27.21% and Krasimir Nikolov from GERB with 21.88%. There will also be a runoff in Balchik, it will be between Nikolay Angelov from IC Nikolay Dobrev Angelov with 48.72% or 3,860 votes and Parsek Sarkis Salbashyan from the WCC-DB Coalition with 17.01% or 1,348 votes. In Kavarna, Elena Baltajieva from MK VMRO - BND (ITN, BR) with 34.45% or 1,901 votes, and Tsonko Tsonev from Novoto vreme with 21.75% and 1,200 votes will appear in the runoff.

There are no runoffs, there in all settlements the candidates for mayors from the DPS win the local elections already in the first round.

In Kyustendil, there will be a runoff between Petar Paunov from the GERB Local Coalition with 28.33% or 5,955 votes, and Ognyan Atanasov from the Green Party with 26.08% or 5,482 votes. In Dupnitsa, there will be a runoff between Parvan Dangov from BSP for Bulgaria with 35.77% and 6,003 votes and Metodi Chimev from GERB with 25.15% and 4,220 votes. In Sapareva Banya, the runoff will be between Kalin Gelev from GERB with 39.19% and Vasil Margin from the Local Coalition "Continuing Change - Democratic Bulgaria" with 27.21%.

In Lovech there will be a runoff between Valentina Stefanova Nedyalkova from

GERB /SDS/ with 30.10% and Stracimir Veselinov Petkov from PP THERE ARE SUCH PEOPLE with 19.26%.

In Berkovitsa there will be a contested run-off between Radoslav Georgiev Naydenov from

MK BSP FOR BULGARIA with 26.75% or 2,044 votes, and Dimitranka Zamfirova Kamenova from

GERB with 25.56% or 1,953 votes.

In Pazardzhik, there will be a runoff between Todor Dimitrov Popov from the Local Coalition "NOVOTO VREME" with 39.31% and Petar Nikolaev Kulenski from the WCC-DB Coalition with 16.17%.

In Panagyurishte, there will be a contested runoff between the independent Zhelyazko Ivanov Gagov with 48.11% and 4,428 votes, and Nikola Ivanov Belishki from GERB with 45.50% or 4,188 votes.

There will be a runoff in Radomir between Kiril Georgiev Stoev from the Local Coalition "WCC-DB Coalition" /BZNS, VMRO-BND/ with 31.56% and Plamen Stankov Alexiev from the Local Coalition GERB (SDS) with 30.34%.

In the city of Pleven, there will be a contested runoff between Valentin Vencislavov Hristov from GERB with 19.36% or 8,183 votes and Georg Leonidov Spartanski with 18.40% or 7,777 votes.

In Nikopol, the runoff will be between Emil Asenov Tsekov from BSP FOR BULGARIA with 37.31% and Ahmed Mehmedov Ahmedov from DPS with 31.02%.

In Plovdiv, Kostadin Dimitrov Dimitrov from GERB with 33.08% and 19,913 votes and Ivaylo Peev Staribratov from Coalition WCC-DB with 16.94% or 10,195 votes will appear in the runoff. In Asenovgrad, the runoff will be between Hristo Grudev Grudev from GERB with 29.78% and Petko Vasilev Chirpanliev BSP for Bulgaria with 20.12%. In Karlovo, there will be a run-off between Emil Stanev Kabaivanov Local Coalition SDS (GERB) with 34.84% or 4,674 votes and Veska Marinova Nencheva BSP for Bulgaria with 23.13% or 3,103 with processed 68.34% protocols.

In Razgrad, there will be a runoff between Miroslav Todorov Grаncharov from the WCC-DB Coalition with 23.70% and the independent Dobrin Mladenov Dobrev with 18.80%.

In Ruse, there will be a runoff between Pencho Plamenov Milkov MK "BSP FOR BULGARIA" with 37.06% or 15,267 votes and Ivan Stefanov Ivanov GERB with 15.29% or 6,298 votes.

In Silistra there will be a runoff between Alexander Nikolaev Sabanov independent with 46.67% and Ivelin Statev Ivanov GERB with 35.52%. In Dulovo there will also be a runoff between Nevhis Lutfi Mustafa Movement for Rights and Freedoms - DPS with 48.01% and Yuksel Osman Ahmed GERB with 43.00%.

In Sliven, the runoff will be between Stefan Nikolov Radev GERB with 37.66% and Plamen Krumov Stoyanov Direct Democracy with 21.73%.

In Smolyan there will be a runoff between Nikolay Todorov Melemov

GERB with 26.41% and Stefan Atanasov Sabrutev Movement Our City with 20.59%. In Zlatograd, there will be a runoff between Miroslav Mitkov Yanchev GERB with 47.24% and Velichko Asenov Siderov from the Coalition WCC-DB with 39.60%. In Samokov, the runoff will be between Angel Ivanov Georgov GERB with 45.07% and Vladimir Vladimirov Georgiev BSP ZA BULGARIA with 43.46%

In Kazanlak, there will be a runoff between Galina Georgieva Stoyanova GERB with 46.45% and Ivan Hristov Kolev BSP FOR BULGARIA with 29.06%. In Radnevo, the runoff will be between Georgi Yovchev Petrov Local Coalition Bulgarian Social Democratic Party (Agricultural People's Union) with 35.51% and Tenyo Zhelyazkov Tenev GERB with 34.81%.

In Haskovo, the runoff will be between Stanislav Naskov Dechev GERB with 47.72% and Nikolay Hristov Stavrev independent with 20.08%.

In Shumen, the runoff will be between Hristo Atanasov Hristov BSP FOR BULGARIA with 26.76% and Georgi Velkov Kolev GERB with 21.29%. In Veliki Preslav, the runoff will be between Yanko Stoyanov Yordanov GERB with 47.64% and Hristo Hristov Kyurkchiev Movement for Rights and Freedoms - DPS with 18.21%.

In Elhovo, there will be a run-off between Petar Andreev Kirov GERB with 41.82% and Petar Georgiev Gendov Local coalition "CP "Continuing Change - Democratic Bulgaria"/ with 36.82%. /BGNES
