The Sofia City Court will hear the measure of Rumen Gaitanski, nicknamed the Wolf today. He was detained for 72 hours after he surrendered voluntarily, BGNES reported. The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office will ask that Rumen Gaitanski remain permanently in custody, and the hearing on his remand should be on Monday in the Sofia City Court.

Gaitanski is being investigated for misappropriation of an unsecured loan for BGN 150 million together with the former executive director of the Bulgarian Development Bank Stoyan Mavrodiev and lawyer Ivan Georgiev.

The only person detained in the "Bulgarian Development Bank" case - lawyer Ivan Georgiev - was released earlier today on bail of BGN 50,000.

Mavrodiev is still being sought.

According to the investigation, part of this money was used to buy luxury cars, and BGN 30 million from the loan was transferred to a company related to Gaitanski, with which TPP-Varna's obligations to "Targovska banka" were repaid.
