The second caretaker government with Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev was sworn in before the National Assembly

The members of Dimitar Glavchev's caretaker government took an oath to work in the name of Bulgaria before the people's representatives. 194 deputies registered in the hall, with Chairman Raya Nazaryan opening the meeting, reported a BGNES reporter.

As soon as they said "I swear", the republic's anthem and the European Union's anthem sounded in the hall.

President Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Yotova were in the plenary hall.

Upon entering the parliament building, the president declared that the constitutional crisis had been overcome, but not the political one.

Despite the risk of state blockage posed by the constitutional changes, we have a government today. However, the political crisis will find its solution when we have a sustainable majority that will produce a stable government. The fairness of the vote takes on enormous weight. The fight against the bought vote must be made a priority. This ugly phenomenon allows corrupting figures to enter the parliament and dispose of the fate of the Bulgarians. This destroys statehood and the political system. I leave aside the speculations to whom Atanas Ilkov belongs, his actions will show that, said Rumen Radev.

For his part, Dimitar Glavchev commented that if there are any doubts about Atanas Ilchev, they will be dispelled.

The "Glavchev 2" Cabinet has three new faces, the most important change being that of Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov with Atanas Ilkov. The candidacy of the latter provoked criticism from PP-DB, who consider him to be related to Delyan Peevski. | BGNES
