The "Glavchev" cabinet officially took office and the official ministers took their seats, reported a BGNES reporter.
According to the new rules in the Constitution, President Rumen Radev had to choose who would head the Council of Ministers after a selected list of candidates. He chose the previous head of the Audit Chamber, Dimitar Glavchev, and as acting prime minister, he also named the composition of the cabinet.
The cabinet will govern the country in the next few months and prepare the 2 in 1 election - European and early national, on June 9. Four of the previous ministers remain in their posts - of internal affairs, transport, education and agriculture.
President Rumen Radev stated that with the appointment of the official cabinet, the end of the "Denkov" cabinet, which for him was "a failed political experiment", was put to an end. Radev distanced himself from the official cabinet, specifying that the responsibility lies with the new Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev./BGNES
