Ramaznov and our other wrestling champion Semen Novikov were given a hero's welcome on their return to Bulgaria today.
"The last few years were very complicated, it was not known if I would be able to continue fighting, but God gave me a chance in the face of Bulgaria. Bulgaria is my second country, I will help Bulgaria and after I stop fighting, I will give my experience, I hope to be useful to the country. There are many talented people here," said Magomed Ramazanov, who brought Bulgaria an Olympic title from the freestyle wrestling tournament in Paris, reported BGNES.
Ramaznov and our other wrestling champion Semen Novikov were given a hero's welcome on their return to Bulgaria today. "I feel very good. I thank Bulgaria for giving me a chance, I'm glad I was able to use this chance. It's unreal, I feel at home. I felt a responsibility, especially when I got on the podium. I'm not so surprised by this welcome, because Bulgaria is considered a wrestling country, but I'm very grateful, it's very nice. I've never had such attention. My dreams are to do another cycle, to get medals from the European, world championships and win again the Olympics, but that depends on the Almighty," shared Ramaznov.
He commented on whether he expected to win the title in Paris. "It is impossible to expect 100 per cent that you will win because all the participants are very good, but I believed. It affected me somewhat because it happened at the beginning of the fight and that hand was in the way," said Ramaznov about the injury of his Iranian opponent in the final battle. | BGNES
