"Someone wants to steal the elections in Bulgaria. The elections, if a solution is not found to have no machines, will be vitiated. This is unheard of as a story until now."
This was stated by the co-chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Delyan Peevski, BGNES reported.
Earlier, "There is such a people" party claimed that a State Agency for National Security (SANS) report made it clear that the Deputy Minister of e-Government Mihail Stoinov, had removed the codes of the machines. Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers immediately convened an emergency briefing on the voting machines.
"We expect the colleagues from the "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" coalition to immediately distance themselves from this deputy minister, and the prime minister to release the minister. You saw that in the municipalities of the MRF, voting is done with machines. The issue is that the process is transparent," Peevski stressed before the media jornalists in the parliament.
He is adamant that on this topic the deputy minister, the minister and the prime minister must take responsibility and say what is happening. "There should be no voting machines on Sunday", he is categorical.
Peevski saw two solutions to the situation: "Either removing the machines or canceling the elections". /BGNES
