The Speaker of the National Assembly has been notified by the State Agency for National Security (SANS) that the Deputy Minister of e-Government has filmed the generation of a code. The code is a key to the machine voting software for the local elections and is generated at the Ministry of e-Government. This was stated by the chairman of the Parliamentary group of GERB-SDS Desislava Atanasova, reported BGNES.
The Chairman's Council decided to invite the Central Election Commission (CEC) and the Minister of Foregn Affairs and Deputu Prime Minister Maria Gabriel. "SANS should refer to the prosecutor's office if it has not done so. Extremely scandalous", said Atanasova and continued: "I hope "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" coalition will disassociate themselves from this person. The SANS report confirms there is a record.
Minutes earlier, the chairman of the Parliamentary group of "There is such a people" party Toshko Yordanov announced that from a report of the SANS it is clear that the Deputy Minister of e-Government Mihail Stoinov downloaded the codes of the machines, recorded them on his phone, recorded them on a flash drive.
"All machines are compromised", declared Toshko Yordanov and defined the actions of the deputy minister as a coup d'état.
Desislava Atanasova also said that at this moment they cannot say how the election process will start.
