Dragomir Draganov from GERB-Union of Democratic Forces (GERB-UDF) resigned as an MP on the last day of the 49th National Assembly.
As the second item on the agenda of the MPs, the changes to the gambling law proposed by Temenuzka Petkova and Yordan Tsonev entered. The item entered the program for today with a large majority, reported BGNES.
The third item on the MPs' agenda was supposed to be the report of the temporary commission on corruption channels in the Customs Agency. The item was not accepted by the MPs, and in a re-voting, 81 were "for", 78 - "against", and 31 abstained.
Rositsa Kirova proposed another extraordinary bill - a bill to amend and supplement the Law on the Income Tax of Individuals. The motion is submitted again by Temenuzka Petkova from GERB and Yordan Tsonev from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF).
Today's session, the last for this parliament, is chaired by Deputy Speaker Rositsa Kirova. On Thursday, the requested resignation of Rosen Zhelyazkov was voted. The MPs are expected to go on vacation given the Easter holidays and the forthcoming election campaign, starting on May 10 2024. /BGNES
