No communication devices corresponding to those detonated on 17 September in Lebanon and Syria have been imported, exported or manufactured in Bulgaria.
This is stated in an official announcement, after checks were carried out by the State Agency for National Security of Bulgaria, together with the National Revenue Agency, the Ministry of Interior and the Customs Agency.
It has also been established that the company referred to in the media publications, Norta Global Ltd, or its owner, did not carry out any transactions in respect of which Bulgaria has jurisdiction, with the object of purchase and sale of goods.
The data from the inspections show that Norta Global Ltd. has not carried out financial transactions falling within the scope of the Terrorist Financing Measures Act, nor has it maintained commercial relations with natural and legal persons subject to restrictive measures under the UN Security Council and EU Council sanctions regimes, the SANS said. | BGNES
